Design

The name Jal Jeevan means "water is life". It honours water as the source of all life, a theme that runs through Madhubani painting, where fish, lotuses, rivers and aquatic life are common motifs and symbols of fertility and abundance.

Madhubani is a centuries-old art form from the Mithila region of Bihar, known for fine line work, bold colours and motifs drawn from nature and folklore. On Jal Jeevan, each stroke is placed by hand on the fabric, so you wear a piece of living folk heritage.

Care

Dry clean only. Store folded in a soft muslin cloth and keep away from direct sunlight and moisture, so the hand painted colours stay vibrant.
